Boat Enthusiast – 2 Nights
A journey through the Telemark Canal
This package is created for those who wish to experience the Telemark Canal much as it has been travelled for generations – aboard the historic canal boats, through landscapes that gradually change along the route, combined with two peaceful nights at Dalen Hotel.
The journey begins in Lunde and follows the canal through lock systems, lakes and narrower waterways on the route towards Dalen. Along the way, the landscape shifts from cultivated farmland to forests, mountains and open waters.
At Dalen, historic lounges, good meals and evenings that stretch a little longer await, accompanied by piano music and storytelling by the fireplace.
