Canal cruise, dinner and accommodation at Dalen Hotel
The journey from Lunde to Dalen is one of the most distinctive ways to experience the Telemark Canal. Here, the waterway winds through lock systems, narrow river passages and larger lakes, while the landscape gradually changes along the route.
From Lunde, the journey continues through the locks at Kjeldal and Hogga before crossing Lake Flåvatn, Kviteseidvatnet and Bandak. Along the way, the canal can be experienced much as travellers have known it for generations – at a slower pace, close to both nature and the craftsmanship of the hand-operated locks.
Upon arrival in Dalen, the stay continues with dinner at Restaurant Bandak, piano music in the lounge and an evening in historic surroundings.

From the quay, guests may take the hotel shuttle or walk to the hotel while luggage is transported separately.

08:30 PM – Seating for three-course dinner at Restaurant Bandak - Day 2
07:40 AM / 08:30 AM – Meeting at Lastein Quay
