As autumn turns to winter at Dalen
Dalen Hotel has welcomed travellers since 1894. As autumn gives way to winter, both the landscape and life at the hotel begin to change.
Mornings begin with breakfast in Restaurant Bandak. Outside, West Telemark awaits, while evenings can be spent in the fireside lounge with piano music and storytelling.
From 4 November to 12 December, you can book selected rooms from NOK 1,500 per night.
The offer is available to book until 31 October and applies to a limited number of rooms.

Restaurant Bandak serves three- and five-course menus inspired by seasonal ingredients. We recommend reserving a table in advance of your stay.
Dress code
Each evening, the restaurant is set with white gloves and bow ties, creating an atmosphere that makes the occasion feel a little different. Many guests choose to dress up for the evening, but what matters most is that you feel comfortable.
A stay at Dalen – selected dates
The offer applies to selected stays between 4 November 2026 and 12 December 2026.
Bookings must be made before 31 October 2026.
The hotel is closed from 13 December 2026 to 11 February 2027, as well as on Sundays and Mondays during the open season.
A limited number of rooms are available at this rate. The offer is subject to availability.
